Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg trying hard to woo india for ‘Free basics’ might had lost some footing due to twitter tirade of one of its long time supporter, Marc Andreessen, a Silicon Valley venture capitalist and board member of the social network Facebook. It has prompted Mark Zuckerberg to openly slam Marc Andreessen for his derogatory comments on India.

It’s all started with Twitter users compared Facebook’s efforts to a colonialist approach, on this Mr. Andreessen tweeted, “Anti-colonialism has been economically catastrophic for the Indian people for decades. Why stop now?”
