Freedom 251: Ringing Bells in trouble again, ADCOM may take legal action
It seems legal troubles for Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd. the maker of the Cheapest Smartphone of the planet ‘Freedom 251‘ are escalating day by day. As already it has been reported that maker of the Cheapest Smartphone of the planet Ringging Bell’s Noida office is raided by the police and the Income Tax Department and Cyfuture BPO is set to File a FIR and Defamation suit against Ringing Bells. (Cyfuture, a Noida-based data centre and BPO, was hired by Ringing bells to handle customer Complaints and Helpline Calls of ‘Freedom 251’.)
Now IT product company ADCOM (Advantage Computers) may take legal action against Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd. ADCOM had sold mobile handset to Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd at the rate of Rs 3600 per unit.
Sanjeev Bhatia, founder and chairman of ADCOM said,
“We still haven’t been able to evaluate their pricing policy, as we sold the handsets at Rs 3,600 per unit. We are deeply grieved by this incident where our mobile phone has been presented to masses for Rs 251. We would not hesitate from taking any legal actions against the company, in case the entire fiasco impacts ADCOM’s brand name or subsequently we face any other kind of losses. We would also like to assert that ADCOM is in no way connected or linked with Ringing Bells or Freedom 251 and bears no responsibility whatsoever, in the whole swindle and regret the inconvenience caused to our valued customers from all over the country.”
