Milk and Turmeric – After workout Protein Shake
Everyone doesn’t want or need a gym ripped Arnold body ,if you want then get hooked on Protein shakes but i will have my own healthy, healer pure and natural Protein shake.It may not make me Superman but will certainly keep me in shape and immune.
Turmeric or Haldi in Hindi has great healing power and increases immunity to Cancer.It always has been a part of Indian Ayurveda.
Milk has Protein and Turmeric has all the medicinal properties that you think of and because of its versatility i will strongly suggest you to include in your food or Drinks.
How to prepare turmeric milk?
- Add a pinch of turmeric powder and a pinch of sugar to a glass of milk.(Be wary of Adulterated Turmeric powder,Use Slim or Toned Milk)
- Now, boil it for around 10 – 15 minutes on slow flame.
Or A ½ to 1 inch piece of turmeric(If you don’t have Powder) is heated for up to 15 minutes along with 8 ounces of milk until the milk is almost boiling.
Strain out the turmeric and drink this milk after allowing it to cool for a few minutes.
You have your Healthy Protein shake Ready .Use after workout.
