Online applications for NEET 2 are invited for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE (UG) TEST-II, 2016 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
NEET 2 or NEET II is the second phase of NEET only for the current year to give the opportunity to the candidates to appear in NEET as stated in the judgment delivered by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on NEET.
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG), 2016 is applicable for admissions to the following:-
(i) All India Quota Seats.
(ii) State Government Quota Seats where the State Government concerned so opts.
(iii) Private/Management/NRI Quota Seats in all Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University.

DATE OF ENTRANCE TEST NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST – II NEET 2
Admit Card download begins: 8th July 2016
NEET2 will be conducted on Sunday, the 24th July, 2016 from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
The duration of test would be 3 hours. The schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared a public holiday.
Info About NEET 2 Admit card
Admit cards will not be sent to candidates. These will be uploaded on website. Candidates need to download the Admit Card from the website only. This facility will remain operation till one day prior to the day of examination i.e. 23rd July, 2016. Thus, download the Admit Card within stipulated time only.
PATTERN OF NEET – II conducted by CBSE
(a) Pattern of the Entrance Test:- The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at centre only. The duration of test would be 03 hours.
(b) Language of the Question Papers:- (i) Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.
(ii) Option of medium of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
(iii) Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in Hindi and in English.
(iv) In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.
SYLLABUS FOR THE NEET 2 TEST:

What is NEET (UG) – 2016 NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG)
As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on 24.05.2016, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG), 2016 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The AIPMT-2016/NEET- I was conducted on 1 st May, 2016. NEET-II will be conducted on Sunday, the 24 th July, 2016. The judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Ordinances is uploaded on NEET website.
The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Counseling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.
