Mumbai : On the occasion of the New Year happiness is coming in many homes, which for years had stalled. Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple Trust has decided to sponsor the education of farmer’s children who committed suicide in the state.
Law and Legal Department issued an official proposal, according to which the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust will fund the education of the children of farmers who committed suicide disturbed by drought and floods in Maharastra.

Siddhivinaik Temple Trust CEO Sanjiv Patil said that he got a GR copy which farmers and their children information have been asked, they have given it to all district collectors to provide the information.
Patil said that the Trust shall bear the costs of these children until graduation. For the information 70,000 farmers have committed suicide from 1997 onwards due to crop failure in Maharashtra,.
